Once you develop strength and flexibility in your body you’ll be able to withstand more physical stress. Plus, you’ll rid your body of any muscle imbalances, which will reduce your chance of getting injured during physical activity. Correcting muscle imbalances requires a combination of strengthening the underactive muscles and stretching the overactive (tight) ones.
The training moves in this program will make a faster, stronger, and all around more robust athlete. These speed drills are largely plyometric exercises that not only decrease reaction time, but also build stability in ankles, knees, and hip joints to help avoid common sports injuries. These exercises for quicker feet are excellent for any sport, but especially beneficial for those who play soccer, football, rugby, volleyball and basketball
Power is the product of equal parts strength and speed. In simplest terms, those athletes and weekend warriors who are powerful can typically generate force quickly. In doing so, the end result is better performance in the gym in terms of total amount of weight lifted. For sports, the end result is improved performance in terms of your ability to accelerate, decelerate, jump higher, sprint faster, and change direction on a dime.

What will Elite Athletic Training-College/Pro do for the athletes?
Sports Specific Training provides our athletes everything needed to excel at their sport of choice. Each day’s full body training program is designed to improve speed, power, mobility, strength, and conditioning. Our coaches work tirelessly to ensure optimal lifting technique and safety for all athletes. Once an athlete can pass our specific strength standards, they will progress to a specific, individual training program. Programming can be designed for a variety of sports including, but not limited to: baseball, football, basketball, volleyball, soccer and surfing.
